Gender equality and social inclusion analysis Report

In Somalia, norms, institutional structures, economic forces and security imperatives combine in complex and dynamic ways to craft the environment in which women and marginalized groups exist. Understanding these influences is pivotal to designing impactful and safe interventions that will serve broader access to justice goals. To this end, this gender and social inclusion analysis seeks to map the context against which different groups experience violence and rights violations, and in turn have them dealt with. It identifies key players, institutions and social influences and tries to explain existing and potential future trends.
